The Simpsonian is the nation’s oldest continually published student newspaper. It has has been published nonstop since September 1870. Single copies are available on the Simpson College campus Thursdays during the academic year, excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Spring Break and May Term.

The newspaper is available for all Simpson College students, faculty and staff members to pick up at various distribution points throughout campus and the Indianola community. Multiple copies and off-campus mail subscriptions are available for a fee upon request.

The Simpsonian is an award-winning member of the Associated Collegiate Press, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the Iowa College Media Association and the Iowa Newspaper Foundation. Its views do not necessarily reflect those of Simpson College’s administration, staff, faculty or student body. Simpson College, its administration, faculty and staff bear no responsibility for the content of this publication.
